Deep Current Cowl
Achieve maximum knitterly happiness this winter with a quick combination of luxurious yarns and a modern cable pattern.
Deep Current is worked in one piece in the round, with allover cables and simple ribbed edges. It can be worn both in a single loop, or doubled around the neck.
I strongly recommend the specified yarns to achieve the look given -
Shibui Staccatto and Pebble are soft, intensely luxurious yarns, and when held together they make a subtly marled fabric in both texture and color. It’s exquisite and exactly the kind of thing you want to wrap around your neck. I highly recommend them.
If you’re substituting yarn, look for one roughly in the DK range - these two yarns, held together and worked in Stockinette, typically produce a gauge of about 20 sts and 28 rounds to 4’’ (10 cm). You’ll need approximately 530 yards total.
