This is a crochet pattern and a video tutorial for a dandelion flower and a dandelion leaf bookmarks, worked with hook size D (3.25 mm) and 100% mercerized cotton yarn category 2.

Specifically I used YarnArt Begonia. Another option is 100% mercerized cotton thread size 3.

The finished bookmark is about 11 inches long. This is a great project for using up small amounts of yarn.

These two pieces are perfect as bookmarks, but also as appliqués or decorative elements for summer projects (simply make the stems shorter).
