Crabby Crab
Welcome to Atlantis, where every Crabby you meet is a friend!
This pattern calls for light worsted, worsted, or aran yarn in 5 colors. We used Paintbox Simply Aran to design it, but any yarn of similar gauge and a variety of colors should work well.
Gauge:
5-rnd gauge circle with 2.75mm hook = 1.75”/4.5cm or
5-rnd gauge circle with 3mm hook = 1.825”/4.8cm
Gauge isn’t terribly important in amigurumi, so it is okay to use a slightly larger hook if that is all you have. However, you don’t want to see stuffing through the stitches, so don’t get too big.
Note: This pattern includes two hairstyles, but you can easily personalize the hair to your taste. We will also be coming out with a pack of additional styles soon!
