Comfort & Joy
This was my shelter in place blanket project - thus the comfort part. I’m hoping the joy will come from the parents of the baby it was created for.
I was a little disappointed with the yarn. One skein has many, many flaws in it. If I made this again, I would pick another yarn. As it was, I played ‘yarn chicken’ with this one. I had only 1 yard of yarn left of 4 skeins as I finished. So be sure to buy an extra skein if you use this yarn.
This pattern would work just as well in worsted weight yarn using a size 7 needle. I would estimate the amount of yarn needed to be 1100-1200 yards.
