Chatham Boatneck
I made this classic boatneck pullover for my daughter when she was just a newborn baby, 14 years ago! I reknit the same garment in our Swans Island organic merino fingering, and this classic style still looks just as cute. (Not on her of course!) If you want a classic garment that can be worn by a baby boy or girl, this is a good choice and can be handed down from one baby to the next, or perhaps even to the next generation. There is very little shaping on this garment so it’s a straight-forward knit with just enough stitch detail up the front and back to keep the knitting interesting.
