Celtic Twilight
♫ The Music ♫
Celtic Twilight ~ an inspired composition collection by Tim Janis, modern-day composer from Maine, USA, whose tunes weave magic notes into relaxing and meditative instrumental music.
Features
- Toe-up socks beginning with a barn toe.
- Celtic cable panel runs along one side of the instep and leg.
- Cables are mirrored on right and left sock.
- Sole is worked in Stockinette stitch.
- Gusset increases are worked at sides of sole.
- Small 1/1 cable is incorporated into each gusset.
- Heel is turned using a short row heel cap which means no picking up sts.
- Heel flap is worked in a standard slipped-stitch pattern.
- Socks can be made taller by working additional ribbing rounds.
To work the recommended bind off, knitters need to be able to ‘read their knitting’ i.e., identify knit or purl stitches as they present themselves. However, an alternate stretchy bind off can be substituted.
Cable patterns are charted with written directions for the charts provided.
