Carla Purse with Pom Poms
For pattern support please go to the question thread here.
This purse is worked back and forth in rows. You actually create a rectangle that is then sewn up at both sides. The zipper is then sewn in and covered on the inside of the purse with a matching ribbon (optional). Last some mini pom poms are sewn on to embellish the purse.
Finished measurements
6½” (16.5 cm) x 4½” (11.4 cm).
Materials
— 1 Hank AMANO ECO PUNA (100g), #9001 Nazca Desert.
— Leftovers in different colors for pom poms ECO PUNA.
— Circular or straight needle, US 3 (3 mm).
— Tapestry needle.
— Zipper 18 cm long in a matching color.
— Sewing thread and sewing needle.
— 0.5 m Ribbon (approximately 1 cm wide) to cover the zipper on the inside of the purse (optional).
— Pom pom maker.
Gauge
32 sts = 4” (10 cm); 64 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Herringbone Twill st.
To save time, take time to check gauge.
