The Cape cowl is entirely worked in ribs mixing together a fingering weight yarn and another of mohair. It is meant to be worn as a turtle neck and is shaped with short rows, in the front and the back. A nearly reversible cable pattern adds a little twist on both sides.

This cowl needs around 75 g or 300 m/330 yd of fingering weight yarn worked with mohair. The sample is made of:

1 skein of Steinhard Yarn 100 % wool (400 m/438 yd for 100 g) in Dusty pink colourway or about 75 g of similar yarn
and
2 balls of Concept by Katia Silk mohair (200 m/219 yd for 25 g) in 714 colourway (from light pink to dark grey) or about 40 g of similar yarn

Le col Cape Cowl est un col en fingering doublé d’un brin de mohair qui se porte replié à la manière d’un col roulé et s’évase vers le bas par le biais de rangs raccourcis. Il est entièrement construit en côtes, à l’exception de torsades pratiquement réversibles qui lui amènent un petit twist sur les côtés.

Ce col nécessite environ 75 g ou 300 m de fil d’épaisseur fingering, doublé de mohair. Le prototype a été tricoté avec :

1 écheveau de Steinhard Yarn 100 % laine (400 m pour 100 g) en coloris Dusty pink ou environ 75 g de fil similaire
et
