Settle into a moment of comfort and contentment – a cup of your preferred tea in hand and a book ready to transport you to another world. Embrace the serenity of self-care as you embark on a literary adventure. Will it be an edge-of-your-seat thriller, an enigmatic mystery, or perhaps a timeless classic that beckons you? Whatever genre captures your imagination, let it be a balm for your soul as you relish a precious moment to yourself, wrapped in the pages of a captivating book.
Introducing Bookworm – a sock pattern that pays homage to all the ardent bibliophiles out there! Just as a book has the power to envelop you in its narrative, these socks embody the cosy comfort of your reading nook, allowing you to carry your love for literature wherever you tread.
Worked in the round, this pattern provides both cuff-down and toe-up instructions for a seamless sock, accompanied by charts for pattern motif. While the pattern comes with instructions for a peasant heel (afterthought heel using scrap yarn), it’s adaptable to your personal preferences and unique feet. Links for alternative heels have been included!
With multiple sizes, you can easily achieve the perfect fit with the intended negative ease. I’ve written this sock pattern with magic loop in mind. However, you can also work on double-pointed needles instead if you’d prefer (just use extra markers to denote the instep and sole stitches).
To further assist you, a link is provided that contains additional resources, such as yarn substitutes and a technique playlist. These tools give you everything you need to create your masterpiece confidently.
