Gauge for Brioche Cowl - 16 sts to 4 inches

If you haven’t knit brioche before the mittens are the perfect small project on which to learn. The Cabled Brioche looks complex but the stitches are repetitive and develop an easy rhythm.

The basic cable and brioche pattern is an 8 stitch repeat so it is easy to length or shorten the cowl. Why not try it with a heavier yarn and larger needles - it would look stunning something bulky!
