Biberschwanz
Biberschwanz, beaver tail, is the name of the tiles on the roofs of half-timbered Alsatian houses. The design of these socks reminds me of those tiles.
These socks feature slipped stitches and twisted stitches.
They are worked from the top down with a heel flap and gusset. Only one color is used per round and colors are alternated for each round, making the color work very easy.
