Bells and Whistles
A gender-neutral cowl in single and double wrap versions.
Size: Adult. Finished measurements after blocking:
Single-wrap cowl, approximately 39 inches (97cm) around and 8 inches (20cm) deep.
Double-wrap cowl, approximately 77 inches (192cm) around and 8 inches (20cm) deep.
Needles: One 24-inch US #7 (4.5 mm) circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 5 sts/inch (2.5 cm) measured over unblocked stocking stitch.
Yarn: Three Irish Girls Springvale Worsted, 3.5 oz (100 g), 205 yds (187 m).
Double-wrap cowl: (shown in Safari), 2 skeins
Notions: Stitch marker; tapestry needle for darning in ends.
