The sweater is a baby version of the adult version. It is knitted in thinner yarn, but still from the bottom up. Subsequently, it is knitted in the round stockinette, after which it is cut up for the armholes. Suggested needles: 3 & 4 mm (40 or 60 cm double pointed needles unless you prefer using magic loop technique)

Gauge: 21 sts x 28 r = 10 x 10 cm in pattern on 4 mm needles

It is recommended to knit a sample on circular needles, as this will give the most accurate result. Achieving the correct gauge is crucial for the shorts to have the described measurements.
