BABA
This plush, turban-inspired head wrap evokes film star glamour while keeping you super cozy!
The BABA head wrap is worked flat in the double knitting method.
Special features, like a slip stitch DK edge and a provisional cast on with Kitchener graft bind off deliver an extra polished finished piece!
The yarn used in the photos is a favorite of mine, the Norwegian indy-dying outfit, Tweedy Todd (http://tweedytodd.no/). But another similar yarn resource is The Fawn and Fox, in their Moose series. https://www.etsy.com/shop/thefawnandthefox
2 colors, one skein each, are required for the project, but happily you can actually knit two BABA headwraps out of these quantities, with about 2 yards to spare in each color!
One can use regular straight needles or circular needles for this project, but I would recommend double pointed needles, since there are usually 5 of them, so it doesn’t additionally require the use of stitch holders, which are a little more cumbersome.
