Aquilegia Shawl
by Kath Andrews
Inspired by the colours of banks of aquilegia flowers drifting into one another, this shawl makes use of the Fibonacci sequence to allow the colours to drift from one to another.
The stitch gauge is measured over one row of the chevron pattern, so make a generous swatch to allow the chevrons to form.
Four colours of West Yorkshire Spinners Illustrious are used:
Colour 1: Highland (031) - 2 balls (372m used)
Colour 2: Old Lace (010) - 3 balls (606m used)
Colour 3: Mulberry (765) - 3 balls (606m used)
Colour 4: Dusky Lilac (704) - 2 balls (282m used)
