Last fall, Netflix’s Queer Eye show had a special in Japan. In the opening theme, the charming Antoni was wearing a fluorescent pink hat, and I thought to myself that I absolutely had to have one. Well, it’s done, “Antoni’s Hat” is now a reality.

Knitted in rib 2x1, unstretched with 2 fingering threads and 1 lace strand of suri.
17 stitches and 30 rounds for 4 x 4 in (10 x 10 cm) on 4 mm (US 6) needle.

Yarn
Main color (fingering, 2 strands knitted together)
1 skein of 100 gr (you will need around 80gr)

Secondary color (lace, 2 strands of mohair or 1 strand of baby suri)
1 skein of 50 gr (you will need around 25gr)

needles and tools
Circular needles 40 cm (16 in), 4 mm (US 6)
Double-pointed needles, 4mm (US 6), for crown shaping, if you do not use the “magic loop” technique.

6 markers, including a different one to indicate the beginning of the round. A wool needle.

L’automne dernier, le show Queer Eye de Netflix a eu une édition spéciale au Japon. Dans le thème d’ouverture, le charmant Antoni portait un bonnet rose fluo, et je me suis dit qu’il fallait absolument que j’en aie un. Eh bien, c’est fait, “lLa Tuque Antoni” est maintenant une réalité.
