All Spun Up
CORRECTION:* After cast on instructions it should say: Place marker and join in the round taking care not to twist.**
Gauge: will vary with each handspun skein so work to an appealing fabric.
The beauty of any handspun yarn speaks for itself. We worked this small one skein cowl up in a simple texture that highlights the yarn and provides instant gratification in terms of knitting! No longer will those special skeins languish in a drawer or bag!
All Spun Up is a great for using up that small amount of handspun you have hanging around in your stash!
~Pattern can be used as a recipe depending your yarn. Use the pattern as a guide as if you were working a sport (worsted, bulky) yarn. Follow cast on guidelines as noted in parentheses.
~When deciding what needle size to use, remember that handspun yarn will “bloom” once it has been blocked leaving you with a nice full fabric. Err on the larger side for needles and you’ll be happy with the resulting drape.
