Alien Lovey
Alien Lovey pattern is intermediate crochet.
US terms used
Alien is worked in continuous rounds/spirals of single crochet using a 3mm hook. Arms are crocheted in with your work so no need for sewing these on later.
The spaceship blanket is worked in joined rounds. The alien body and the spaceship are crocheted together as you go so no need for sewing together later.
You will need to know how to do single crochet, bullion stitch, front post stitch, half double crochet, V stitch, slip stitch, increases and decreases.
Pattern included for optional ray gun.
Gauge is not important. Finished size if made using yarn and hook suggested will give a lovey that’s approx. 32cm across.

Carnival and 4 Seasons Marvel 8ply yarns in the following colours:
MC (Main colour) – Light Green
CC1 (Contrast colour) – Light Grey
CC2 – Dark Grey
CC3 – Blue
CC4 – Red
Black embroidery thread for facial details.
(Eyes can also be cut from black felt and glued in place although this is not mentioned in the pattern. Please keep in mind the age of the child you intend to give this lovey to.)
