Adventure Begins
Where the Adventure Begins is a rectangular shawl knitted on the bias; its name was inspired by the children’s poem, Where the Sidewalk Ends. As I worked my way through the many lace and stockinette sections, I kept having the thought “where the sidewalk ends is where the adventure begins”. This reminded me of the famous poem, and I carried the idea further to name the lace sections after kinds of gardens.
This pattern uses 1 skein of Black Butte and 1 set of 6 mini skeins from Alexandra_the_Art_of_Yarn.
