This sweater top can be made sleeveless,
or with added sleeves.
You can use any size yarn and any size hook,
because the foundation chain stretches across
the largest part of your body in the front,
so from underarm to underarm,
left hip to right hip, or across the chest.

After that, it’s a repeat of one row until you work the top band.

Works bottom up.
Make 2 identical panels then connect them at the shoulders and the side seams.

I used ww yarn and a 5.5 mm crochet hook for the pink sample shown.

MATERIALS:
Ww yarn and a 6 mm hook, (approx. S: 350yds - 3XL: 800yds)
Or
Cotton worsted and a 5 mm hook
Or
Chunky yarn and a 9 mm hook
Yarn needle
