2318K- Christmas Santa Figure
KNITTING PATTERN, knit Santa figure, tree topper,
standing figure,
Father Christmas Figure.
Pattern is worked in separate clothing pieces
The support used was a paper towel roll,so it can be
slipped on the top of a Christmas Tree as a tree topper.
(A purchased cone can be used, as the clothing are designed to
fit any support system.)
Directions are included for knitting a head,
OR
using a 1.5 inch styrofoam ball as the head.

MATERIALS
Worsted weight yarn, approx. (20 yds for under-dress; 40 yds for coat, 15 yds for hat; 2 yds for belt, 2 yds for hands, 10 yds for head.)
White yarn for beard and hair, approx. 10 yds (Bernat Homespun)
6 mm knitting needles, (worked flat)
4 mm needles for head.
Yarn needle
One pipe cleaner for arms
Fiberfill, or a 1.5 inch styrofoam ball for the head.
2 small beads for eyes, (any size)
1 cardboard tube from paper towels (or purchased cone)
1 button for belt,
Pink face blush for brushing on forehead and cheeks
Embellishments of your choice: (bells, greenery)
Hot glue gun and hot glue, (optional, items may be sewn instead of glued.)
ALTERNATE FACE, (you will need a small square of T-shirt knit.)
