Easy Crochet Poncho/Cape pattern!
Works up in less than 5 hours for 4XL (Extended plus size)

Materials:
Loops N Threads, Barcelona (from Michael’s store), (500 yds for Small; 900 for 4XL)
(Substitutes: 2 strands of worsted weight yarn; if so, double yarn amount;
OR
2 strands of double knitting, or sport weight for a more lacy result)
9 mm crochet hook
Yarn needle
Fringe will require an additional 75 yards of yarn.

My focus in designing patterns is to use the most simple method
possible so it can be achieved by beginners, without losing a more
complicated appearance. I designed this pattern so that it was an easy repetition of 2 rows throughout the pattern. So easy that it is almost mindless without having to refer to the pattern, so this speeds up the construction of this stylish poncho/cape.

(Barcelona yarn has a slightly fibrous filament, so it somewhat resembles angora yarn.)
