Sharon Slarke
I’m an independent designer living in the suburbs of Melbourne, Australia.
My aim is to provide stimulating stitches which keep the process knitter fascinated and result in finished pieces which delight the eye. I love to design pieces which are fun, practical and supremely wearable. Variety in types of garments, bags and homewares as well as variety in stitch patterns and colourwork keeps it all interesting. I will help out with any issues you may have in understanding my patterns. Just send me a message! I aim to make my patterns as clear as possible to all knitters. I love to see your finished projects, so please post them for me to ogle. :)

I like my pullovers and cardigans short. The shortness helps give the illusion that my legs are slightly less short than in reality. If you have been more generously supplied in the leg length area, feel free to add some length to these pieces as desired, keeping in mind that there is often shaping from the waist to the bust to take into consideration.
I also prefer my sweaters/jumpers seamed for stability and structure. I know there’s a variety of opinion on this matter, so feel free to convert to seamless, which should be fairly easy in most cases.
