Sarie Tales is a pattern designer TURNED fiber artist exploring yarn, thread, and textile for self-expression, self-care, and joy in the process.

Sara/Sarie (Strandquist) formerly Sara Kay Hartmann is the author of Poetic Crochet published in 2015; she worked in the yarn industry for 10 years as a freelance needlecraft pattern designer.

She is now sharing her creative process and working in unplanned, exploratory freeform techniques on whimsical and wild fiber and textile art.
